Between Jan. 9 and 14, around 100 Cape Girardeau natives and 25 Southeast students had a one-of-a-kind opportunity to participate in the shooting of a major Hollywood film.
"Killshot," a drama-thriller starring Diane Lane, Thomas Jane and Johnny Knoxville and directed by John Madden, was shot on location in Cape Girardeau and southern Illinois, with Southeast students working behind the scenes as interns, extras, runners and stand-ins for the actors.

St. Vincent's Seminary will soon be home for Southeast's School of Visual and Performing Arts.

At their first meeting of the semester, one of the issues Student Government looked at was the expiration of a student's Southeast key e-mail address, just three days after a student graduates, causing serious problems for students who were communicating with potential employers through this channel.
